Basics > Curves
Curves are a lot like lines but the sense of movement along a curve is greater. Curves may be implied from several points, and are strongest when they are exaggerated. They are usually smooth and flowing and inherently attractive to most people. They are also hard to find. Some examples of curves are winding roads, staircases and landscapes. They are great to draw the viewer's eye to a point and are good for providing contrast to lines. |
